Privacy notice

How we take care of the data you share with us on this site.

Who is responsible for your data

Parallelo, a marketing agency, is responsible for the personal data you share with us on this site, under Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.

Address: Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico.

Contact for any privacy matter: hola@parallelo.mx

What data we collect

Only what you write to us in the contact form, in the site’s assistant or on WhatsApp:

  • first and last name;
  • email;
  • phone or WhatsApp, if you give it to us;
  • your brand or company, its website or social profile and its industry;
  • the services you are interested in and your message.

Along with your message we keep the page you wrote from and, if you arrived through an ad, the campaign name. We do not ask for sensitive or financial data.

What we use it for

Necessary purposes, to handle your request:

  • reply to your message and schedule a call;
  • prepare a proposal or quote;
  • follow up on your project if we work together.

Additional purposes, which you can refuse:

  • send you emails about our services, news and, later on, our newsletter;
  • better understand what people who write to us are looking for, to improve the site and our service.

If you do not want us to use your data for the additional purposes, email hola@parallelo.mx at any time. Refusing does not change how we handle your request.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own purposes. To operate, it is stored and processed by providers working on our behalf: the site’s hosting, our email service and our internal client system. They only use it for the purposes in this notice.

We would only hand over your data to an authority that requests it under the law.

How long we keep it

While we have a conversation or a project with you and, afterwards, only as long as needed to meet legal obligations or answer questions. If you ask us to delete it, we remove it from our systems, except what the law requires us to keep.

Your ARCO rights

You can ask at any time to access, rectify or delete your data, or object to its use. You can also revoke your consent or limit how we use your data.

Email hola@parallelo.mx with:

  • your name and an email to reply to;
  • a copy of your official ID (or your representative’s and the document that proves it);
  • which right you want to exercise and over which data.

We reply within 20 business days and, if applicable, apply it within the following 15 business days. If you feel we did not handle your request properly, you can contact the personal data protection authority.

Cookies and measurement

The site does not use advertising cookies. It uses:

  • technical cookies, needed for the form to work securely;
  • your browser’s storage, to remember, for example, that you already closed a notice or what you decided about cookies;
  • Google Analytics measurement cookies (through Google Tag Manager), only if you accept them in the cookie notice. They tell us which pages are visited and how people get to them. Google processes them on our behalf and we do not use them for advertising. You can change your choice at any time in “Cookie preferences”, at the bottom of every page.
  • Microsoft Clarity cookies, also only if you accept them. They show us, in a heatmap, where people click and how far they scroll on each page, and record sessions anonymously so we can see where browsing gets stuck. Clarity hides what you type in forms. Microsoft processes them on our behalf and we do not use them for advertising.

We also measure site usage anonymously, without cookies: which pages are visited, whether they are scrolled halfway, where visits come from (for example, Instagram or Google) and clicks on WhatsApp, phone, “Book a call” and the form. We do not store your IP or anything that identifies you, and these records are deleted after 13 months.
